The  Restaurant Manager will be responsible for creating a safe and fun atmosphere for our guests and cast members, all while motivating a large team to execute on high levels of quality and service standards. Each cast member needs to feel valued, supported, and confident in his/her role in the show – you have the ability to make magic!

Our guests and cast members will look to you for guidance and direction so proven experience making operational decisions such as opening/closing locations are needed. You will administer performance observations, solve unique guest situations and ensure all safety and sanitation levels are upheld.

To be successful in this leadership position, strong job attendance is required. You may be leading a team in one or more of the following outlets to include Quick Service Dining,  Table Service, Buffet Dining,  and/or Bar & Lounge.

Basic Qualifications:

Please apply if you have:

  • Should have good knowledge of Japanese Food and beverage service

  • Proven 5 years of Restaurant leadership experience

  • Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a HI liquor card

  • Able to demonstrate holding others accountable

  • Proven experience in cash handling

  • Knowledge of financial aspects of an operation

  • Demonstrated passion for guest service and cast development

  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational processes and efficiencies

  • Demonstrated strong partnering, organizational, and decision-making skills

  • Proven computer skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, teach and work with a diverse team

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

  • Knowledge of the Japanese language would be added an advantage


Preferred Qualifications:

It would be nice if you have:

  • Degree or diploma in  Hotel management
  •  Must have relevant  working experience in TAJ, Oberoi ITC, or Luxury  hotel
  • A strong understanding of Japanese ingredients and cuisine
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Proven 2 years of leadership in a AAA four or five- star (diamond )rated restaurant
  • Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language
